Forum: Chief Education Officer Dr. Rudy Crew
The new (and first ever) Chief
Education Officer, Rudy Crew, will discuss his role in Oregon’s education
system with Forum moderator Kerry Tymchuk. Dr. Crew is the former head of
schools in New York City, Miami, Sacramento and Tacoma.
He was appointed earlier this year by Governor Kitzhaber to be the
state’s first chief education officer in which he oversees the state's public
universities, public schools, community colleges and early childhood programs.
Come and hear what Dr. Crew has to
say about the future of education in Oregon.
