Dan is a public strategist, providing strategic counsel to businesses, elected
officials, and political candidates in Oregon and across the Pacific Northwest.
At Gallatin, Dan specializes in developing public opinion research and applying
it to communications, legislative and issue advocacy campaigns.
Dan
has an extensive background in Oregon politics. Prior to joining Gallatin, he
was a top advisor and senior strategist to U.S. Senator Gordon Smith. Dan also
served as Smith’s chief of staff during his term as Oregon Senate President.
Before working for Senator Smith, Dan was the chief strategist for Republicans
in the Oregon Senate.
